Peru Dog Shelter
Volunteering with the devoted owners of the local dog shelter in Cusco, Peru. The project is dedicated to the rescue of these dogs in the local community. We will be supporting the physical and psychological well being of the dogs in hopes of giving them loving, permanent homes.
Sea Turtle Monitoring
Working with Intercultural Outreach Initiative Galapagos, we will be assisting in their Sea Turtle Conservation Department for the Galapagos National Park. Walking the beach daily and helping with the nesting process for the different species of endangered sea turtles while contributing to a larger conservation effort in Galapagos.
Animal Conservation Volunteer Program - Kariega Game Reserve
As conservation volunteers we will assist and experience the following four areas; Animal Research, community development, conservation management, and education at the nearby school named Farmerfield. Kariega Game Reserve is a very unique and special conservation project near Kenton by the Sea.
Treedom & Wide Rescue Initiative Outreach (WIRIO)
Spending a month in the Kenyan village of Kisii working with WIRIO and Treedom was an incredibly humbling time in our lives. Helping rebuild a nursery destroyed by a hail storm and working with variety of projects throughout the community; eco-waste management, agro-forestry, and eco-farming.
